So at long last spring is nearly here and the flowers are beginning to bloom. So now's the time to start thinking of those lovely walks and if you're not much of a walker then this one is perhaps the easiest and most convenient going. It's very easy and mud free, approx 1 to 1 and a half hours in duration. Beware of the odd Lycra Lout cyclist otherwise no problems at all with this walk.
Start at the Park and Ride at Coypool and walk towards the Railway Station where you will see the start on an old railway track converted to pedestrian/cycle track.
Shortly into the walk from the Coypool end here's perhaps one of the first flowering Rhododendrons
For some of the way there is the old canal (currently dry) and there are several ornaments along the way like this one.
Optional walk through the Water Meadows.
The fully functioning railway crossing
Recently refurbished Car Park on the Plympton side of Plymbridge
View from the Plympton side of the river
View from Estover side of the river.
